Many merchants ask if it is appropriate to add tipping to their debit machine.  Tipping is completely acceptable in any service type industry.  But if you are a dollar store or wine store or even some fast food type business then it is typically not kosher.  Just ask yourself...? Would you tip...? The answer, is yes then add the tipping option to your debit machine.
